Tesla recently marked a major 4680 milestone “100-millionth cell” and noted it is continuing to advance dry-cathode manufacturing lines. Durr Systems AG and LiCAP Technologies announced plans for an innovative pilot line for dry coating electrode foils at Cellforce in Germany. Sakuu has announced that its platform supports dry-processed electrodes for both LFP and NMC, enabling solvent-free printing/coating of cathodes
Dragonfly Energy was named “Battery Technology Company of the Year” by the CleanTech Breakthrough Awards LiCAP Technologies announced a Letter of Intent with SK On to explore collaboration on advancing dry-electrode manufacturing. AM Batteries revealed DBE-2.0 process enables roll to roll dry electrode processing Addionics Ltd is combining their 3D current collectors with dry coating.
