PHEV & EREV Market Share Erodes in China The predominant market for EREVs is China, although US (and to lesser extent European) OEMs plan to launch EREV models. While PHEV and especially EREV have seen massive growth between 2023 and 2024, in 2025 the market share slightly decreased, being replaced by growing pure BEV sales.
