Use-Cases and Revenue Models for Residential and C&I Customers Residential, commercial and industrial customers are targeting long-term cost savings and improved resilience by investing in and using battery energy storage solutions. These solutions enable the implementation of individual energy strategies, taking into account cost, quality and time trade-offs. The trend of lower system prices and further asset usage optimisation via value stacking (i.e. via VPPs) is an additional growth driver for this segment.
