From Cell-to-Module to Cell-to-Pack & Cell-to-Body BYD's and Xiaomi's Cell to Body (CTB) technology is a structural innovation that integrates the battery pack directly into the vehicle's body. This integration significantly increases the structural rigidity due to higher torsional stiffness. It also optimizes space utilization, achieves a higher volumetric utilization rate, and improves vehicle handling by enabling a 50:50 front-rear weight distribution and a lower center of gravity.
