Academic and Student Sentiment Students reported general optimism about the future of the battery industry, with 80% expressing positive sentiment but only 55% confidence in their ability to find a job after graduation.

34% of students expressed neutrality or doubt that they will graduate with the skills needed for employment and 43% expressed neutrality or doubt about knowing which roles to apply to. In contrast, 72% of workers in the battery industry are confident in their ability to find their next job, indicating that direct experience improves confidence and that there is room for clarifying industry roles and career pathways.
