Overview of 2025 Patent Activity: Zn-ion Batteries
Emerging patenting activity is dominated by applications in China and Chinese R&D labs. The top 3 2025 applicants (Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Anhui University, Central South University) hold 7% of patent families. KIER is the sole non-chinese R&D labs among main patent applicants.
